MUSEUM STATUS / USING THE INFORMATION
How It Works
Find the place. Read the details. Make an informed plan for your visit.
Unknown is an answer, not an invitation to guess.
Start with your destination
- Find an attraction through Museums, Cities or Search.
- Check the evaluated visitor status for the relevant visiting context.
- Review published opening hours and dated exceptions.
- Check reservation requirements, ticket information and booking links.
- Read the visitor notes and any area-specific access details.
- Review available source, verification and freshness information when a detail matters to your plans.
Read the status in context
- Open
- The evaluation supports visitor access for the time and context shown. It does not guarantee admission or ticket availability.
- Closed
- The evaluation indicates no visitor access for the time and context shown. A different area or visiting purpose may have a different result.
- Unknown
- Available information is insufficient to determine access safely. This is an intentional answer, rather than an inferred open or closed state.
- Restricted or partial access
- Read the accompanying scope and area information; the status may not describe unrestricted access to the whole attraction.
Two different checks
Visiting status is an evaluation for a time and context. Source verification describes checks behind the information. Freshness describes the available information context; it is not a promise that every detail is live.
Schedules, exceptions and ticket conditions can change. Check critical arrangements with the venue or operator before travelling.
